Onkel Toms Panoptikum
The title is a reminiscence to a
popular
TV-Show in Austria's 1980's and 90's
On this page I present pictures from several scenes and
situations but which weren't enough to fill a Homepage on its own.

Onkel Tom's First Pictures in 1990
In the years 1989 and 1990 - Onkel Tom is a student in the
4th and 5th form of high-school - Greyhead Karl changes his camera-equipment to
a Minolta 7000 and so Onkel Tom is allowed to try his luck with his daddy's old
Minolta XG-1. This camera stays Onkel Tom's trusty companion in the following 15
years.
Here you can see his first "attempts to walk":
1st row: History-Excursion to the Southern Tyrol in 5th grade
of High-School,
2nd and 3rd: Summer Holiday in Supetar on the Yugoslavian (now Croatian) island
of Brac.

Open Air-Museum Stuebing (Styria),

A Trip To Maribor -
A "Styrian Authumn" in 2002
In the end of September 2002 Flou and I first enjoyed a few days in Bruck, from
where we went to the open-air-museum in Stuebing where old farm-houses from all
over Austria were re-built.
After that we met our friends Heimo, the Toelly's and the old detective Horstl
Fruehwirth in Southern Styria - at the so called Wine-Road.
From here we made an excursion to the north-Slovenian city Maribor - the formar
South Styrian Marburg.
Steam-Locomotive-Meeting in Selzthal (Styria)
June 2003
Whitsun 2003 I spent a view days in upper Styria with my old friend Martin
Winkler where we made a trip to the big steam-locomotive-meeting which took
place at the railway-station of Selzthal...
...normally a not very important village - except when you are a railway-freak;
then you know this important railroad-junction from where four main-railroads
lead to all directions.
The pictures I made there I edited during the following years using the picture-software "Ulead Photo Impact"...
